James Technologies Features E-Commerce Solution in
Apple's 10-City Small-Business Open HouseTour
WebClerkTM Includes Web Server & Comprehensive
Pre-Fab Web Site Templates
ST. PAUL, Minn., June 1, 2000 - James Technologies announced today that it is part of Apple Computer's 10-city Small Business Seminar tour, which begins tomorrow in Phoenix and ends August 16 in Las Vegas. James Technologies joins Adobe, Hewlett-Packard, Palm, Inc., Farallon, PowerOn, Ramp Networks, Document Express, Canon, Kinko's, FileMaker, and MYOB in presenting technology solutions designed to help small businesses grow. "Solutions for a New Millennium", a free mini-expo, features five briefings on accounting, office automation, marketing, e-commerce and more.
James Technologies' flagship product, WebClerkTM, is anchoring the E-Business track, which demonstrates how to set up a first-class e-commerce storefront without hiring a complete staff of programmers, designers and developers. President and CEO Bill James explained, "Move over, techno-giants. This seminar dispells the myths that in order to compete on the Web, a huge investment is required and that e-commerce site development is an extremely complex process."
This is not the Company's first effort to promote free enterprise on the Web. Last week Mr. James announced that James Technologies is sponsoring "The Sky's the Limit" competition ". The Company will award $1,000 prizes to the five students who establish the most e-commerce sites in their communities by November 15, 2000, and the Company is giving contestants free WebClerk software (James estimates about $100 million worth) for building the sites.

About James Technologies
James Technologies (JT) develops and markets WebClerk software, a database-driven e-commerce solution, including a web server and prefabricated Web site templates, which implement catalogs, order entry, service, libraries and secure credit card transaction options. Since development is not required - unlike most Web tools - WebClerk simplifies site creation, requiring only imported data and a domain name. JT's flagship product is scalable for large e-commerce sites and is priced to enable small businesses to cost-effectively compete in e-commerce. WebClerk users include Dow Jones, Sega, and TR Digital.
Twin Cities Business Monthly named JT's software Best New High-Tech Product of 1998, due in great part to its simplicity and its ability get a Web server up and running and begin doing business on the Internet in as little as 10 minutes. Computer User named JT one of the top 10 technology companies to watch in 1999.
